On July 9, 2011, Monique Nicole Caston, M.S.W. was been invited to be a main speaker for Dark IS Lovely, Inc.'s (DIL) first Father & Daughter Dinner on behalf of Caston Career Development Solutions. Dark IS Lovely, Inc. is a nonprofit organization based in Virginia whose mission is to "develop confident, motivated, and career oriented ladies through mentorship, networking, and event planning." The dinner also included professional and educational development workshops for a group of girls that have recently graduated from high school in 2011. On April 18, 2016, Monique Nicole Caston, MSW, MSW was seleted to serve on the national nonprofit Board of Directors for the Red Pump Project. This nonprofit organization raises awareness of the impact of HIV/AIDS on women and girls, HIV prevention, and sexual health.
On December 13, 2016, Monique Nicole Caston, MSW, MSM was selected to participate on the Power 500 Book Launch team for the new book, Happily After All, written by Willie Moore Jr., an inspirational speaker, licensed minister, and national radio personality.
